About Dano’s
Hi! I’m Dania, the owner and baker at Dano’s Granola. I’m a mom of three very active boys, an artist, photographer, and teacher. While working on my Masters in Fine Arts, my passion for baking grew. Baking became the common thread that tied my art and ideas together (more about that here).
When my oldest son was diagnosed with dairy and gluten allergies, I realized that many of the gluten-free and vegan alternatives were heavily processed and full of sugar. I began researching and experimenting with gluten-free and dairy-free ingredients so that he could enjoy healthy and delicious snacks. Granola quickly became our family’s favorite snack, healthy and versatile. We would eat it straight out of the baking trays, as a cereal for breakfast, on top of a smoothie bowl, or even as a crunchy topping to a simple green salad.
Dano’s Granola is baked with love and is packed with superfoods like almonds, pumpkin and hemp seeds. It’s made with whole foods, organic ingredients, and sweetened naturally without any refined sugar. We bake our granola in small batches to ensure crunchy delicious granola in every bag.
